Balloon Garland Self-Hanging Tips

Balloon Garland Info

A few things to note before we get started:

  • Temperature matters! Keep your balloon garland inside at a comfortable temperature until use. Avoid cold garages or hot cars—balloons don’t love extreme temperatures.

  • Two ways to hang your garland:

    1. Tie it to something: If you have a staircase, light sconce, or backdrop, you can simply tie the ends of your garland to those anchors.

    2. Hang on a blank wall or surface: Use command hooks to attach your garland without damaging walls.

  • Disclaimer:
Please ensure that any item you use to hang the balloon garland on your wall is safe for your surface. Some heavy-duty hooks may peel or damage paint. To help protect your wall, we recommend placing painter’s tape on the area before applying any hooks or adhesive. Wake Party Co. is not responsible for any damage caused during setup.

Tips for beginners:

  • Start by laying your garland on the floor and adjusting the balloons so the shapes and sizes feel balanced.

  • Don’t worry about perfection—balloons naturally create a fun, organic look.

  • When lifting the garland, have a friend help if possible. One person can hold while the other attaches.

  • Step back often and check from a distance to make sure it looks full and even.

  • If a balloon pops, you can always replace it—you can usually tuck the new balloon into the garland so it blends perfectly. Glue dots go a long way!
